Koi Pond Bridge

The Koi Pond Bridge is a project taken on by Te Ronde Design, showcasing the company's versatility and commitment to quality craftsmanship. The client needed a functional bridge that would withstand Wisconsin's harsh weather, but it also needed to complement the beauty of the existing pond and landscaping. The pond is home to pet koi fish and therefore materials had to avoid harsh chemicals that would contaminate the water for the fish. Because of this a combination of cedar, redwood, and composite materials were used to meet those requirements. The wood on the bridge was finished using natural teak oil for a natural and chemical-free finish.
